My first abstract landscape-painting I ever made, with a strong diagonal which I took over from Ruysdael! There is also influence of Bram van Velde, where he learned me how to construct and to build up an abstract painting. I painted this landscape-fantasy in bird perspective: the port of IJmuiden.
